6th generation Arthur (Norman). 1922
Arthur ( Norman ) married Victoria (Cecelia) Sequeira in KGF at Our Lady of Victories Church, ( St. Marys) prior to this they both served in the forces during the war - Norman in the Navy, Cecelia in the Army. Cecelia was born in Mangalore and her roots were Mangalorian ( Portuguese - Indian ). In the army she struck up a friendship with Olive Stephenson a fellow service woman who invited her to come home with her on leave, there she met her Brother Norman they fell in love and married in 1947.
After leaving the forces they married and settled in KGF Norman followed his father and worked in the gold mines at Nandydroog. They had 4 children, Daniel born 1949, Alan born 1952, Ashley born 1956 and Lorraine born 1959.

In 1960 with the threatened closure of the mines and the decline in general living standards of Anglo Indians after India's independence, they decided to leave India and went to England setting up home in Harrow Middlesex, they both went to work for the Kodak film company where they spent the rest of their working lives. Norman died in 2013 and is buried in Middlesex.
